In 2006, Jamie Snively (Truxler) was brought in as AEC’s first intern. With her creativity and strive for perfection, Jamie was offered a full-time position in 2007. Jamie, the eternal student, received her Master’s in Business in 2011. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico in Recreation Administration, with emphasis in Special Events. She has a minor in Tourism as well as having a certificate and Associates Degree in Tourism and Travel. With Jamie’s passion for learning we are always wondering what she will do next?!
She loves to travel and is extremely fond of new experiences. It's hard to keep this girl home. She is experienced in all of the aspects of event planning, and is full of fresh and new ideas. Jamie knows the importance of finding the right vision and theme for any event. She creates a unique and special experience for every client.
Jamie learned early on the importance of attention to details. Even the smallest missed detail could be the difference between an excellent affair and one that would rather be forgotten.
A rising star in the industry, Jamie was awarded the ISES, Heart and Soul Award for her work with the ISES-NCC Membership Committee in 2010-2011, which she continues to serve. She is the Sponsorship Chair for BAWN (Bay Area Wedding Network).
Jamie and her husband, Josh, live in the Bay Area and enjoy camping and the outdoors when they are not hard at work.
